I made this Christmas tree cupcake cake for a Christmas party at my daughter’s girl scout meeting. It was a big hit! I made 2 dozen cupcakes and tinted buttercream icing green for the tree and brown for the trunk. I used a large star tip to decorate both the tree and trunk.
For the tree, I used edible candy that looked like ornaments and also used Christmas sprinkles such as candy canes and small balls. I put 4 cupcakes under the tree cupcakes to look like a trunk and used the brown icing with a star tip and made a zig zag effect. Enjoy!
